Occasions Hall –

Occasions Hall Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is included in the rental price?

Occasions Hall uses flat-rate room pricing rather than a per-person charge. Table linens, ice, cups, napkins, Sternos, serving supplies, decorations, decorating services, setup services, catering, and food are not included.

The exact tables, chairs, and movable equipment included with an Occasions Hall booking should be confirmed in your written quote because the per-hall inventory list has not yet received final client sign-off.

2. How many hours are included in the rental, and can I extend the time?

Occasions Hall’s exact event hours, decorating or setup window, and overtime terms are still being re-verified. Portfolio materials currently reference six event hours plus two complimentary hours beforehand to decorate, but approved records also state that rental hours vary by hall.

Please confirm the exact Occasions Hall schedule and any overtime charges in writing before booking.

3. Can I bring my own food, drinks, and decorations?

Yes. You may bring your own food, outside caterer, music or DJ, drinks, and decorations to Occasions Hall.

If alcohol is served, the venue’s licensed bartender must serve all alcoholic drinks. Outside bartenders and guest self-service of alcohol are not permitted. Ask our team about the current décor and attachment rules before installing decorations.

4. Is there a kitchen available, and what equipment can we use?

Occasions Hall does not offer the same prep-kitchen option available at Atlantis Hall, Medina Hall, and Ridgewood Hall. The exact sink, prep, and refrigeration access available at Occasions Hall is still being confirmed, so do not plan on kitchen equipment unless it is listed in your written booking details.

Occasions Hall does not provide a full commercial kitchen with gas lines, stoves, or warmers.

5. Do you have a preferred vendor list, or can I hire my own vendors?

You may hire your own vendors. There is no required preferred-vendor list, per-person catering requirement, or minimum catering spend.

You may bring your own caterer, DJ, decorator, photographer, and other outside vendors. Occasions Hall provides the event space but does not provide food or catering.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

The current Occasions Hall cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and date-transfer terms have not yet been supplied for publication.

Before paying your deposit, ask for these policies in writing so you know exactly what applies if your plans change.

7. Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?

Occasions Hall’s accessibility details are currently being re-verified. We do not want to promise specific accessibility features until the entrance, interior route, and restroom access have been fully confirmed.

If a guest has mobility or accessibility needs, call or text (347) 640-4255 before booking so the current venue setup can be confirmed.

8. What is the maximum guest capacity of the venue?

Occasions Hall has a maximum capacity of 80 guests. The maximum capacity is enforced, so events should not be planned for more than 80 people.

If you need room for a dance floor, DJ, buffet tables, or larger décor installations, discuss your planned layout with the venue team before booking.

9. Is a deposit required to secure the booking, and how much is it?

Yes. An $800 deposit is required to secure an Occasions Hall booking.

Before paying the deposit, ask for the payment schedule and the applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms in writing.

10. Are there any noise or music restrictions?

You may bring your own music or DJ, but Occasions Hall’s venue-specific sound, volume, and end-time restrictions are still being confirmed.

Ask the venue team about the current music rules before booking your DJ, live entertainment, or sound equipment.

11. Can I tour the venue before making a booking?

Yes. You can schedule a tour of Occasions Hall before booking.

Occasions Hall is located at 93-43 104th St, Ozone Park, NY 11416. Call or text (347) 640-4255 to confirm availability and schedule your visit.

12. Do you provide any staff, such as security, cleanup, or bartenders, for events?

Security is required for every event, and the security amount is $175. The client is still confirming whether that $175 is already included in the starting venue rate or charged separately, so your written quote should clearly show how security applies.

If alcohol is served, the venue’s licensed bartender is required for a $175 flat fee. The venue bartender must serve all alcoholic drinks; outside bartenders and guest self-service are not permitted.

The cleaning fee is $95. Venue-provided decorating and setup services are not included.

13. What kind of parking is available for guests?

Parking availability is not guaranteed. Occasions Hall has been reported to have shared parking, but the exact arrangement, capacity, availability, and nearby parking options have not yet been formally documented.

Before sending parking instructions to guests, call or text (347) 640-4255 for the most current parking guidance.

14. Do you offer insurance or require event insurance from clients?

Basic event insurance is included with the rental at Occasions Hall.

Depending on your event, vendors, or alcohol service, additional documentation may be required. Ask the venue team to confirm any event-specific insurance requirements before booking.

15. What is the process for booking the venue, and what forms of payment do you accept?

Start by calling or texting (347) 640-4255 to confirm your preferred date and schedule a tour. An $800 deposit is required to secure the booking.

Current accepted payment methods include cash, certified check, money order, Zelle, Cash App, and credit card. Applicable credit-card processing fees may apply.

Ask for the complete written quote and booking terms before submitting payment.

16. How much does Occasions Hall cost?

Occasions Hall uses flat-rate starting prices, not per-person pricing.

  • Monday–Thursday: starting at $595
  • Friday or Sunday: starting at $1,095
  • Saturday: starting at $1,295
  • Saturday daytime events ending by 5 PM: starting at $795

The Saturday daytime rate reflects a $500 discount from the regular Saturday starting venue rate.

A $95 cleaning fee and 8.875% tax apply. Security is mandatory at every event and is valued at $175, but whether that amount is already bundled into the starting venue rate or charged separately is still being confirmed. If alcohol is served, the required venue bartender is $175 flat.

Rates are starting rates and may vary based on factors such as event size, duration, timing, and how close the booking date is.
